2023 Oscars: Complete Winners List

“Everything Everywhere All at Once” and Brendan Fraser’s “The Whale” take top prizes

March 13, 2023

Independent movie studio A24 stole the show Sunday night at the 95th annual Academy Awards.

The film company racked up nine Oscars in total, including seven for its thrilling multiversal romp “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and two for “The Whale,” starring Best Actor winner Brendan Fraser, who just last month opened up to Howard about his chances of winning the coveted award:

Jimmy Kimmel hosted the 2023 award show, which also gave out statues to big-budget sequels “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” “Avatar: The Way of Water,” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” starring Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly, and 2022 Stern Show guest Jon Hamm.
