From Socks to Social Media, Here’s Everything Howard Hated in 2021

With 2022 just around the corner, Howard spent some time Tuesday morning looking back at a few of the year’s most memorable moments. While his walk down memory lane was largely an overwhelmingly positive one, he also debuted a montage of everything he hated in 2021.

“No year in review would be complete without a list of things I hate,” Howard said before playing the clip. The list took aim at everything from flowers and wearing socks to Prince Charles and the word “party.” It contained a few oldies but goodies, like Halloween and Zoom conferencing, as well as a couple well-considered newcomers like unrequited love and stolen superpowers.

“I hate a lot. I even hate my hate list,” Howard laughed after hearing the montage.

“You do use the hate word a lot,” co-host Robin Quivers said. “I don’t think it’s good for you. I really don’t. You shouldn’t be hating so much.”

Howard couldn’t help but agree. “People have said to me make a love list: it’s Metamucil, Beth, Robin, my bed, and that’s it—and of course my kids,” he concluded.
