Billie Eilish Drops Music Video for Bond Theme ‘No Time to Die’

Song hails from the upcoming 25th installment of the popular action franchise

Good things really do come to those who wait.

Over eight months after the song’s initial release, Billie Eilish dropped the music video for “No Time to Die,” the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film of the same name.

The largely black-and-white video shows the 18-year-old singer, songwriter, and Stern Show guest singing the haunting, sultry tune into a vintage microphone on stage. The clip also employs footage from the upcoming film, offering glimpses of an ill-fated romance between James Bond (Daniel Craig) and his love interest (Lea Seydoux) as well as death-defying action involving guns, explosions, fighter jets, and everything in between.

“No Time to Die,” the franchise’s 25th installment, was originally set for April but the coronavirus pandemic pushed the film’s release back to October. The audio version of its theme song, co-written by Billie and her brother Finneas O’Connell, has already racked up nearly 90 million views on Billie’s YouTube channel. As Stern Show listeners will remember, she and Finneas treated Howard to a peek at their song-writing process during their debut last September. Billie also put on a concert of sorts live in the Stern Show studio. Watch her perform “When the Party’s Over” (below).

“No Time to Die” opens in theaters Nov. 11.
