VIDEO: Eric Andre Jokes About the Absurdity of Reggae on Police Shows in ‘Legalize Everything’ Teaser

Comedian, talk show host, and Stern Show veteran’s debut Netflix stand-up special arrives June 23

Eric Andre finds humor in sharp contrast in the teaser for his debut Netflix stand-up special “Legalize Everything,” arriving later this month.

“Did you ever watch the show ‘Cops’?” the comedian, talk show host, and repeat Stern Show guest asks his audience in the clip (above). “Is it just me or is reggae the most inappropriate music they could’ve picked to open up the show?”

“You can’t slap reggae over police brutality footage and call it a day,” he adds before demonstrating the absurdity of doing so by delivering successive impressions of each.

Filmed in New Orleans, Andre’s set purportedly also tackles everything from the war on drugs and the war on sex to the war on fart jokes. While “Legalize Everything” serves as Eric’s first Netflix stand-up special, he previously collaborated with the streamer on the animated comedy series “Disenchantment.” Additionally, Netflix recently acquired his prank-filled comedy film “Bad Trip,” though a release date has not yet been announced.

As Stern Show fans will remember, Eric is no stranger to going the extra mile for a big laugh. In 2016, he famously participated in an on-air round of prostate karaoke. Just this past March, meanwhile, listeners learned Eric was also willing to participate in a three-way make-out session with staffers Richard Christy and Sal Governale on the air.

“Eric Andre: Legalize Everything” debuts June 23 on Netflix.
