Pop superstars Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande have a wet and wild dance party in the new music video for “Rain on Me,” a collaboration appearing on Gaga’s new album “Chromatica.”

Directed by “From Dusk till Dawn” and “Sin City” auteur Robert Rodriguez, the vibrant clip features the two Grammy-winning musicians shaking their moneymakers in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, dressed mostly in pink cyberpunk garb while flanked by troupes of equally colorful backup dancers. The aesthetic is consistent with Gaga’s previous recent release “Stupid Love,” which dropped in February.

“Chromatica,” Gaga’s sixth studio album, arrives on Friday. The much-anticipated effort was originally scheduled to hit shelves last month but was delayed due to COVID-19 concerns. In addition to the Grande team-up, the record contains collaborations with Sir Elton John and the female K-Pop act Blackpink.

Lady Gaga has joined the Stern Show multiple times over the years, sitting down with Howard for conversations about everything from her life and career to her friendship with the aforementioned Elton John. She’s also performed live in the Stern Show studio, wowing listeners with memorable renditions of songs like “The Edge of Glory” and “Million Reasons.” Look back at her 2016 performance of the latter (below).
