VIDEO: Ronnie Mund Loses His Voice After an Hour-Long Birthday Call With Kurt Busch

Howard's limo driver also uses his hoarse voice to prank call Mark the Bagger

Ronnie “the Limo Driver” Mund’s wild weekend celebrating his 70th birthday seems to have taken a toll on the Stern Show staffer’s voice.

“Howard, you should probably speak to Ronnie,” executive producer Gary Dell’Abate said with a laugh early Tuesday morning. Once inside the studio, Ronnie could barely speak while explaining he thought he lost his voice after visiting Pocono Raceway and driving cars at top speeds along with his fiancée Stephanie.

“What he’s trying to do is keep up like a young person … and he’s fucking like a maniac,” Howard said. “He’s up ‘til 3:30 in the morning drinking, he’s screaming and playing the karaoke and all this bullshit.”

Perhaps Ronnie lost his voice due to the hour-long call he said he had with his friend Kurt Busch on Monday night. The NASCAR driver also talked to Howard over the phone on Tuesday and poked fun at Ronnie’s driving abilities.

“How the hell you let him drive you around in your limo, I don’t get it,” Busch joked to Howard.

“You’re full of shit man,” Ronnie shot back. “What the fuck is wrong with you today?”

When asked what will happen once Ronnie is off the show Kurt answered, “I’ll drop him like a hot rock, of course.”

Later in the show, a caller suggested Ronnie’s voice sounded an awful lot like Mark the Bagger. Howard and Robin agreed and decided he should place a phony phone call to the Wack Packer to put the comparison to the test. Before leaving the studio on Tuesday, Howard was able to debut the new prank call of a hoarse Ronnie telling Mark he was his long-lost great-grandfather. Hear the full call in the audio (below).
