Miley Cyrus Dodges Cops, Bullets, and Strippers in ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ Music Video

2017 Stern Show guest collaborates on the track with British musician Mark Ronson

November 30, 2018

Miley Cyrus is up to her neck in cops, bullets, and strippers in the brand-new music video for her and British musician Mark Ronson’s “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” the lead single of his forthcoming studio album.

Directed by WAFLA and filmed in Kiev, Ukraine, the clip (above) begins with Miley driving slowly across a freeway while police cars and a helicopter chase after her. The pop star and Stern Show guest gives new meaning to the term “hot pursuit” as she rolls through an array of weird locations, including a strip club where multiple women are performing lap dances at the same time.

The politically charged video also has her driving by nuns praying, a man with a “Miley for President” tattoo, kneeling football players, two women getting intimate in a hot tub, and a gun range filled with children shooting at targets of other children.

After dodging a few bullets Miley finally picks up a passenger, Ronson. In addition to being the first track off Mark’s 2019 album, “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” serves as Miley’s first release since her 2017 album “Younger Now,” which she joined the show to promote last October. The visit also saw the superstar perform live a handful of her best known tracks, including “Wrecking Ball” and “Party in the U.S.A.”

Take a listen to her in-studio rendition of “Party in the U.S.A.” (below) and see Miley and Mark on Dec. 15 opposite Matt Damon on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”
